Dr.-Ing. Otmane Azeroual is researcher at the German Institute for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) in Berlin. After studying Business Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences Berlin (HTW), he obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering Informatics at the Institute for Technical and Business Information Systems (ITI), Database Research Group of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Berlin. His research interest is in the area of Database Systems, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Data Quality Management, IT-Security, Cloud Data Management, Project Management and Industry 4.0.
