Marc Zeccola studied law at the University of Freiburg while working as a student research assistant at the Department for International Politics (Prof. Dr. Rühland). Subsequently he started working at the Ad-hoc-Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague. After completing his legal clerkship, he began to write his doctoral thesis at the University of Vienna supervised by Prof. Dr. Höpfel, a former Ad-litem Judge at the Tribunal. Currently Marc Zeccola is postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Public Law at the University of Stuttgart. His research focuses on the Law of Participation, Environmental and Planning Law.
