Alexander Sajnovits studied law at the University of Mainz, Germany, graduating in 2012 with his first legal state examination. From 2013 until 2015, Alexander did his legal clerkship with stages at the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and with international law firms in Frankfurt and New York. After passing his German bar exam in 2015, he continued working as a research assistant to the chair of Prof. Mülbert at the University of Mainz while also starting his Ph.D. thesis. He received his Ph.D. (Dr.iur.) from the University of Mainz in May 2018. From September 2017 until July 2018, Alexander completed a Masters in law and finance at the University of Oxford.
