The Journal of Applied Irrigation Science (Zeitschrift für Bewässerungswirtschaft) is a bilingual journal containing English and German articles with summaries and abstracts in both languages. It covers all aspects of the practical application of irrigation science. Even it has its origin in the irrigation sector of Germany it is focussed on the solution of problems faced by irrigators in industrialised and Third World Countries. Articles are rigorous in depth, and range in approach from applied geographical analysis to the examination of technical, economic, environmental and social issues.
